I dunno Chris - I haven't even passed the entrance exam for the kindergarten of 800 dismantlers yet, whereas you're marking the PhD student's dissertations..!

You're right though...it does feel odd being car-less. Watch this space...even if it's not an 800 it won't be anything that's too left-field for a confirmed 800 addict.

I've scrapped 3 this year already and have another waiting to go.

Looks very similar with the parts you mentioned as well.

Was it a proper scrap man that took the car? I don't think they're allowed to do this if as far as you're concerned it's being taken for scrap.

Blimey, yes it is!

Oh well, if some of the parts find a good home then that's no bad thing I guess. Engine is good by the way (timing belt is on, lots of plugs and cables need refitting though which means it won't start - this is probably why he thinks it's fecked)

Hope he's cleaned the mould off those "good condition" seats!!

Admittedly, they are otherwise pretty good except a rip on the driver's bolster.
