show calendar

Post by rovercoup » Sat Aug 17, 2013 3:52 pm

Hi all, I have only recently got my coupe to a standard where I am happy to take to show's and want to go to more since the BMC outing at Peterborough. The Hull show came up quite late and i was unable to adjust my work commitments so had to miss it. The Ashby Folville looked quite interesting as well.

Is it possible for one of the moderators/admin to create a tab dedicated for a show calendar where meets and show dates could be placed that way we can all see when they are due and try and make plans to attend. 2013 is probably nearly finished in respect of showing our cars (NEC excluded) so now would be a good time to start to populate a calendar with next years events.

Does anyone else agree with as an idea. It could also assist the the donation button for show finances?

Sounds like a good idea - I'll ask James to look into it (I'm no use with the forum software)

Good idea Steve.
Hopefully be able to see shows that take place on days other than just Sundays.

We can create a calendar on the homepage in Wordpress. I'm looking to update the forum shortly as it could do with a bit of a refresh so I'll keep this in mind.

In the meantime I have added this post in the Announcements and Events section: http://www.rover800.info/forum/viewtopi ... =5&t=11283

Please post details of shows as a "reply" and then the moderators can edit them into the first post.
