I spoke to a chap with a TR7, he was parked on the grass area and he said that all those cars were there for the owners to get their final briefing as they were all taking part in the round Britain rally. He said they drive 2000 miles over 2 days.

Was a good day, I liked some of the old Peugeots there on display outside.
Didn't think the museum was as good as the free one at Coventry though.
On downside I'm still cleaning the diesel fuel off the front of my car; washed it twice and then rubbed it all down with white spirit. I forget whose 825 it was leaking the diesel fuel in front of me.
It really won't come off the black parts of the bumpers or the valance and its still all over my screen.
At least I've replaced my piece of trim that fell off on the way there.

That patch looked a lot bigger when it was under the car. It did smell rather nice as it left the car park though :roll:

Three things;


The DB5, I last saw that car in Marlborough High Street, I think. The plate looks very familiar. Was there a sizeable dent in the passenger door?

i think you'll find thats actually cooking oil from an indian restaurant you need to wash off the front of your car washing up liquid or engine de greaser should get it out. The only other diesel there was mine which i'm pretty sure doesn't leak so i hope it wasn't me!
