"today, Longbridge, Tomorrow zee World, Ha Ha"
Watching, I reckon Chris's Trailer was the most photographed thing on the whole field. Even though some youngsters thought it was extra seating!

Some great pictures and some nice cars. Thanks to everyone who submiited them particualarly for the enjoyment for those of us who were unable to attend.I had hoped to attend this year's rally but it just wasn't to be.
Nice Montego and love the Austin 3 litre. That said i would have to align the wording on the headlight so it was level. (sad i know).
The 800 that was for sale looks very nice. Does it belong to John W?
I see the MG6 was on display did the factory have a representitive there?
Who did the Azure blue Mk1 Sterling belong to ? It looks very smart. Was it Tracy's (ex Mr Moss ex Brad?) or a new member?

I was thinking that when I took the picture. If you're going to own a car in that condition it's small beans to get the detail right. The Professor wrote: Nice Montego and love the Austin 3 litre. That said i would have to align the wording on the headlight so it was level. (sad i know).
Yes, Longbridge had two cars (a saloon and a hatch) and there were several reps there answering questions. One was asked about the improvements to the K series and was assuring everyone that any issues had been fixed. He did say he could go into minute detail if needed (but didn't). One guy complained about the use of engine covers and that you couldn't see the engine properly. The Professor wrote: I see the MG6 was on display did the factory have a representitive there?
