Bromley Pageant of Motoring 2011

Despite the weather I think it was a reasonable success. Saturday was alternating between sunny and warm and cloufy and cold. Heavy downpour on Saturday early evening, cleared to a chilly night. Sunday started really sunny and beautiful, but deteriated to cloudy and showery (quite a lot of showers) and coldish.

But it was very nice to meet people from the forum, chat, look at their cars, eat, drink be merry-ish.

Looking at these pics, I really wish I'd made it. However, financial constraints and my tailpipe dropping off put a stop to that. Having ordered a new back box I now have to make the juice left in the tank last til next Thursday now..... So no more pleasure cruises for the time being. When't the next meet? If it's within sensible distance and I can afford the fuel that week I'll definitely make an effort to come along

Ahhh that's a pain. MOT is due 4th of July and have an abs sensor to sort in the meantime, and payday is not until the 23rd of June so need to keep all I got Once MOT time is out of the way I shan't be too bothered about driving all over the place for fun, but until then need to save the pennies. 13k a year is really cramping my style at the moment haha

Finally got home about 9.30pm after a trip back to TDT, wash the car then back up to Hertfordshire.
It was really nice to meet you all and I can now put faces to names. I had a super day (VERY cold, thanks for the heater Chris you are a sweetie, and wet)but a good day non the less below are my piccies. Sorry for the gratuitous police shots. It really was a big nostalgia trip for me driving a job 827 again. Susie had a good day too and enjoyed the progressive drive round the M25.
