Ford Escort Cosworth, OH YES
I love those, managed to see a couple of Cossie,s 2 years before they were released. i was doing some work at Ford,s test centre in essex.
got talking to a german fella on my dinner break. he had just come frome the test track and i had a good look under the bonnet whilst chatting, he even let me sit in and start the car. it was a left hand drive and had a load of test gear in it.
i managed to sneak a few pics, my mates could not believe it when they saw the photoes.
Great cars and lots of fun.
nice pictures by the way.

i agree. I just love them. Its amazing how they namaged to produce so many different models in the 50's. Cadilac a new one for each year. The costs today would have been prohibitive . It makes you wonder how they did it.Jon R wrote:Something about those old YanksThe Professor wrote:Looks to have been a good show.
The Fairline was ahead of its time with it metal folding roof. Great to see it all in action when the roof goes up or down.

It's on the second Tuesday of the month, starting April and ending with September, the next one should be 12th July if my calendar's right.Richard Moss wrote:I haven't been following the Ashby Foville threads but am I right in thinking that this is a monthly event and if so, when's the next one?
See you there ?
