Browsing through flickr, I stumbled upon this picture:
Now this lad looks as if he has caught the multi-800 owner disease. The Red is clearly a Sterling, a 1990 registered one too. The car to the ride-hand side looks to be one of those special-edition models with the TWR kit and rare 16' speedline Rover prestige alloys. Not sure whats in front of the Red Sterling but the lad who grabbed this pic says there is at least 6 Rover 800s at this house which I believe is somewhere in St Austell.
Surely someone here must know?

MOAR PICZ:
Rotton early Rover 820i:
820e and Sterling:
Red Sterling and Red 820 special edition:
No photos of the car nearest the garage but it also looks like a mk1 (with the stupid R8 grille mod) possibly a mk1 820 of some sort and definiately a saloon.
Come on Cornwall dwellers, pull a finger out and find this Rover 800 hoarder.

why do people hoard cars like these and then allow them to rot away or go so far that it is impractiacl in terms of time and cost to get back on the road? criminal, send out kate to issue a flagship fine for willful destruction

I do all my own work this cars are very easy to work on you only need the basic tools to fix them and that do have a welder so I can do all my own welding

There's a chap in Oxford with more 800s than this person has. All mark 1's in his back garden in deep grass, slowing sinking, sinking, sinking. It's quite beautiful, really.
