Early 800 in Hereford

I've seen loads of 400's and three 600's but this is my first 800 since getting the car three weeks ago.

So, seen today at Kwik Fit in Hereford today (Saturday) at about 2.15 pm was an early 800 reg H616 YNH, possibly Sli??? :? Sorry only got a fleeting glimpse of the back and still trying to get my head round the different models.
It looked greyish but Swansea has it as blue.

Quite excited to see another one - wish I was going to Gaydon but car needs work :lol:

You should have stopped and warned the owner not to pay £200 for an exhaust or £300 for tyres. In fact, you should have stopped and got the owner to remove the car and torched the place.

H reg is LATE mk1 800!!! C reg is early!!!!

He said "early 800" not "early mk1". H is in the first half of the total production run - so it technically is early!

sounds like a possible Nordic Blue then - a lovely colour

Given rovers habits I would not be surprised if some '57 plate Mk1's turned up.

But recently I ahve seen 'early' F reg Mk2 Golfs about.. go figure the first were on A plates
