Hi, I have just seen a red mk2 on the m40 south bound at 07:35
The car had aftermarket wheels on and looked quite nice. I was in a White van with rags on the wing mirrors.
Currently: 1995 mk2 sterling
missed but not forgotten: 1988 Rover 827 Si (13.835 @ 101.3mph)
Currently: 2003 Toyota celica Tsport VVTLI

Not me jago, but are the rags your mirror wipers to keep the spray off them in wet weather?

They just keep cleaning the mirrors off all the time, they work really well too.

We used to use them on our old Ford Cargo, like you say, they do a great job! Cotton T shirts were best but didnt last long. Denim lasts longer but doesnt swish about until some speed is achieved.
