Well I don't see another 800 every day, and I can't remember the last time I saw another mk1 on the road, so I was really please to see a very tidy looking mk1 820e (yes just like mine) on the M62 tonight.

Slightly dodgy but using my emergency car-cam I managed to snap the rear end on the way up the slip road.

Reg no was F163 COG (mine is F844 FGO so almost brothers)

You may have noticed the camera flash in your mirror, and the idiot rubber necking as I came past

His old car was F852COG. 827 Si Manual hatch.

Hey! I remember this car (F163COG) wasnt it Beige? It was on ebay some time back. Nice to hear its still around. Can you post the pic?

Yes it was beige, with a towbar, looked in pretty good condition, thought I'd seen it before somewhere.

Pretty sure that was a G reg on ebay, the one with the rivetted on retrofit door wood???
