silver mk2 saloon

i was making a few running adjustments to the carbs on one of my sd1s in a layby near stansted, when a silver mk2 saloon hooted at me. sunday 3rd july at about half six. anyone on here? bet it's a while since they'd seen an sd1 at the side of the road with the bonnet up. i wish i could say the same :roll:

I live in the East Herts area and have seen a silver saloon driving round Stanstead. Think its a Vitesse. If I'm in one of my Rovers I always wave and always get a wave back. Need to find out if he has heard about us. I think it is an R reg.

well let's face it, we've all done it. mind you, the old sd1 is still going, my 800 died at less than 100,000 miles and 14 years. the beauty of a timing chain over a belt :wink:
