Another Jeep - Joe's this time

I think both me and Joe (my mate) were bitten by the bug of the last Jeep I had, then sold him. A big part of the reason I bought another and not far off the only reason Joe bought this one.

He prefers the regular Cherokees but fancied a facelift one to the older one we had.

Joe also wanted one that would run on LPG so that limited him a bit with choice.

This is what he settled on. Generally tidy aside a knock on the front drivers corner and the rear springs are suffering.

He's happy though. Here's a few pics.

And here's a quick one of both together as we went in search of some hills.

I prefer the boxy shape as well TBH.

Though there's a lot more room in mine and more gadgets as well.

You also avoid the (mildly) embarrassing registration that Joe's car has.

Guess so.

My brother's ex had a 106 reg'd P***EDA.

First thing she noticed when he brought it home.

I loved my Cherokee 4.0L, totally reliable and a right old laugh with nearly 200hp on tap unfortunately I couldn't live with the mpg dropping down into single figures when I was a bit lead footed. I've always fancied the Grand Cherokee with the 4.7 V8 in but they do tend to hold their values quite well, one day, because I do need to cross this one off my list.

If using one of these in the UK then LPG has to be the way to go.

It's crossed my mind for mine but it's not as cheap here as most other places.

The way I justify it is that's it not that much worse on fuel than my fastback so just accept it.

I wouldn't have said no to one with it but can't see paying out for it.
