Supermarket car parks sometimes have eastern europeans who will do a good job of washing your car for buttons.

Re: what happened to lord sterling
Hmmm, always dubious of them since being caught about 7 years ago. Parked up to do some shopping and one of them offered to wash my car for a fiver - when i came back it had changed to a tenner.
There's another eastern european operated hand car wash near me in what was (many moons ago, 25+ years to my knowledge) originally a filling station. The pumps were long gone even when i first knew of the place and the shop part turned into a fried chicken restaurant with the kitchen etc behind the counter. Next to that is the building that covered the original automatic car wash (also long gone) and that's where they run the hand car wash.
Never tried it but apparently it's a good one. The chicken is nice though!

I think it could be improved by removing the ornamental snail and sticking an 800 door there instead.Captain Sensible wrote:My garden is looking lovely though!

The snail is called Brian, he's survived the slug pellet blitzkreig for about 8 years now.

If memory serves, you should have an old 800 door to keep Brian company anyway! Is it just Brian you have in the garden or is there Dougal, Florence, Ermintrude, Dylan, Zebedee and whoever else i've missed there too?
