davey Jones dies aged 66

60s band The Monkees front man dies from heart attack aged 66. i loved this band when i was a kid and used to watch thier tv show. they had some great hits witch still sound good today.

For a while the Monkees outsold the Beatles and the Rolling Stones COMBINED. I've got their greatest hits album here.

It's probably heresy to say so but I prefer The Monkees to The Beatles. You just smile when you hear them - regardless of them being manufactured, singing other people's songs etc.

Shame about anyone passing away. I never really liked them, and the TV show was crap, sorry, but that how it struck me. But then, most Amerocan TV show were/are crap
