However more driving gives more trouble.
A few days ago We went for a really long trip over Maybe 20-30km. The next day there was a terrible clonk from the rear axle region and We discovered that We had lost a very crutial part! The cap/nut over the torque tube hanger. Inside there Is supposed to be a cup and spring holding the torque tube paralell and still. It was all gone. These parts are very hard to find so it was a disaster.
Then I remembered hearing a thump near home, like hitting a bouncing rock. We went to look and Eureka, the cap was found in the Grass. Cup and spring was gone though But they could be made.
So last morning I went into my garage and made a new cup from delrin. A great idea as it is hard and slippery so wear comes to a minimum.
After this was mounted the car ran even better than before! Probably a better more tight fit.
