Lovely seeing everyone today, it was a great turnout and a proud display of the 800 series. Good job on everyone's part!
Firstly let me apologise for scarpering off early without a word of goodbye! Rather rude of me to do so
Not intentional by any means however gentleman duty called and I'm always willing to help - especially as its another 800 in a spot of bother! It was great putting a few more faces to names and chatting about various things. Some beautiful pieces of machinery there and good weather to spend the morning in the park.
Amusing drive on the way back with the various other British Iron - Followed a pair of Austin 7's for a while and had a bit of fun along a b road with a chap in a ZS (Surprisingly managed to keep up in the twisties! Not a chance on the straights though
) Curborough tomorrow morning and then back to final year student life - which is to say large quantities of coffee and long hours at a desk.
