Swale Festival of Transport

Post by al » Sun Apr 12, 2009 5:04 pm

Hi all.
I thought I'd pop this up in case anyone is interested.
The Swale Festival of Transport is a re-incarnation of a Festival we've been running for the last 12 years.
It's a festival of all things Transport (as the name suggests!!) and is all in aid of the Kent Air Ambulance. All monies raised go straight to the Air Ambulance and we have it based at our festival all day.
In the past we have raised about £3,000 on a 1 day event so hoping to raise a bit more now we've taken the plunge to a 2 day.

It is on the 26th & 27th September at Brogdale Farm in Faversham, Kent.
There is some camping available.

Entries are £2 per vehicle which includes driver and 3 passengers. This covers admin costs and anything left over goes to the Air Ambulance.

Please feel free to contact me for more details.
Cheers, Al

I don't but it's a cause very close to my heart as friend of mine went in it after an accident a few years ago before he died last year (aged 32) and it's been out to an accident I was involved in.
I'm a truck driver so you never know!!!

Plus In my opinion there's not enough support given this (and other air ambulances) by the government so we gotta do something to help keep her in the sky.

Thanks guys, would be good to have a good turn out from the 800's. Not a car that's shown enough I think.
Plus it would be good to get to meet some of you too.

If everyone that's interested PM's me there details I'll get some forms sent out.
Cheers, Al
