whats the problem?

people have some very strange ideas about macs. Mostly untrue.

that's all. you can all have PC's it's your choice. I'm just really glad i don't have to worry about viruses, instability and short shelf life.

well the price thing certainly is !

one on the left 1900 quid! thats not a bad pc spec though...

pc equivilent of pretty much identical spec

you could buy 3 of those! for the same price as the mac and still have Â£112 change!

O yes, the very famous Zoostorm. The whole pc wolrld is talking about that one. It is told there was never a better pc in the whole world !!!
Now that's exactly what I meant by obscure backroom built pc's.

Same comparison between a LADA and a Rover: Ooooh it's the same spec !!! See that? Four wheels and all black. And they both got a backup wheel as well !!!!

BTW the baby popped up here as well now.

you don't get it do you ? it's not just about spec. it's about stability and purpose.

you would need to buy 3.. they would be bricked in a few months crippled with viruses. or you would taking 3 days to render a movie because your cpu is wading through virus protection treacle.

yes i have a mac i need a mac for work because a pc couldn't do what my mac does and that is a fact.

Wish I had one for work.
Only the good old Powerbook and G5 at home. Makes me go back in time every workday.

But the homecoming is nice.

nothing against you grey coupe but ive had pcs for as long as ive been able use a computer and work in the IT industry and never once in my 9 years of owning and 2 years of working have I ever had a machine crippled with viruses and the only viruses I have ever seen have been due to people not even bothering to install basic anti virus software I dont on the other hand know anything about movie rendering so its wholly possible your right on that front

I'm a PC user and have had viruses disable my pc twice.

On the first occasion it corrupted my hard drive, the second time a different virus first disabled my virus scanner (I would not recommend AVG after this), then destroyed my partition tables followed by a bios password change to top it off !

I think I also got that MS Blaster virus, which everyone seemed to get though. It gave you thirty seconds when you start the pc, and then it would switch off.

All of this I fixed myself etc I build and maintain all the stuff I got.

really? none of my friends have ever had crippling viruses either, how did you get them do you know? viruses like tend to only get onto a pc if the person opens an attatchment or downloads something with it inside

The one that changed my bios managed to get onto my pc when I was fixing a pc for somebody else, and I stupidly networked it to try to save the documents from his hard drive.

The Blaster one I've no idea, but didn't that get onto pc's another way?

The first one was a dodgy song my sister got off a file-sharing site.
