JPEGs of workshop manuals

I thought about this a while ago and decided to make JPEGs of one of the MK2 manuals.

Is this worth having for the others or do most think it's a waste of time?

Ive got the complete mk1 and mk2 ones as JPEGs on my PC at work but haven't got round to uploading them to Photobucket.

I guess that I could upload them to a public album and anyone who wants them can access them. I could do the same with the mk1 electrical manual (and maybe even RAVE)

Yeah, good idea. But prob better having it divided into sections, as that is a hell of a lot of pics to upload

Up to you, it's easy enough to sort if you don't want to do it.

Chris, you're a star!! Wish i'd known that lot was there when i was trouble shooting my mystery cooling fans!!
Tell me to disappear in short, sharp jerky movements if you like, but what would the chances be of you converting it to Adobe format and putting it on a CD rom please? I'd be quite happy to pay for it (as long as it's not something silly like Â£100!)

I just clicked that link and my old computer went into a sort of "full lock mode".

I've seen on pdf manuals that you can actually click in the pics and get to the right place. How is that done? It would be really clever if one could click "suspension" and those pages were displayed. I haven't got a clue how it works as I'm totally lost about computers so...

But I realize you must have put some work into it.

That's actually where it's from.

At some point in the past previous 800 owners scanned the manuals and saved them as PDFs on a disc.

Drop me your address and I'll send you a copy.

just finished printing the mk2 workshop manual ( just the 2.7 ), took 6 hours and 3 ink cartrages

, because i work in the work shop at work ( about 5 miles away ) it was difficult to check the disc

.
all i've got to do now is lamanate all 800 pages of it.

now to do the electrical section ( another 500 odd pages

).

I have a proper Rover copy of the books so didn't need to do that.

Indeed, thats actually a scan of my Mk1c manual that is in there!
