Well nigh on a week on and having just relived part of the day with Neo's excellent vid (great music, perfect choice

) I am sat at the puter reflecting, and all I can say is what a great time I had.

Unfortunately I was slightly hampered by having a case of shyness on the day, so didn't mix as well as I would have liked, but that's me.

I would like to say a big Hi to the people I did have a chat to, and an apology to those that I didn't, maybe next time

I would like to again say how brilliant I found having so many 800's in one place, as this was my first meet, I havn't ever seen so many as that in one place at one time.

I am inspired by all the cars that showed up, each had something that I found really good, either their appearance, their mechanics, or their sheer quirkyness

Roll on next Summer

Indeed, we seem to be very popular at the minute we need to get some effort put in for shows next year.

i've always found that at car shows other people and clubs like it when other clubs have a good turnout, be it a small or big club, it shows a lot of interest in your own make/model.

I didn't think there would be Mike TBH. It's a bit far over for most.

Put it up as me and Shaun were going anyway.

Probably a bit early for planning some shows next year.

The Longbridge day is good. Lots of stuff there. CITP will be on my list as well.

So will the SD1 spares day if it's at Gaydon again.

Should we have a go at our own national event or look to tag along with another group/event?

I'm going to plan on going to all three of those next year.

I'm not sure that we're big enough to go solo - tagging on to another event makes sense. The RSR are planning on Warwick (or near Warwick) for their 2010 national event but as I won't be renewing my membership it wouldn't really be appropriate to try to tag along with that.

Given enough time and preperation I'm sure we could spread the word?

Shame on the RSR front. Warwick area and further east will probably be the best sort of area to get as many as possible there.

CITP is for certain.

I plan on doing a few few shows next year, I was a little disorganised this year.

sonds good should be a busy year 2010

what we could do with is a central meet point where the distance is the same for all that also has a venue somewhere to park etc,( mission impossile )

i am going to try and get to one of mr Clarks Sat meets maybe the November one
