I was playing on the computer with one of bluerover's photographs and I came up with this.

What I thought was if I copy it into a Word document and then copy it two or three times to fill a sheet of A4 I could keep some in my car and stick them on 800's that I see. There are several round here and I have wondered how to make contact with their owners, when I only ever see the car parked up.

Anyway, I thought I would give it a try and see what happens

As Far as I'm concerned anyone can use it to advertise the forum, I did it as I thought it was a good idea, and I am more than happy for people to use it for the same reason.

I asked Bluerover if it was ok to use his photo and he was ok with it, so go for it, lets get more members

This is the flyer in colour, I black and whited it because colour printing costs so much I was being tight

For some reason I cant seem to get the colour one any bigger on photobucket

if anyone wants a larger version just pm me your e-mail address and I will send over the largest version I can.

I just had a look and the colour version on my computer is 4486 X 2300 pixels which is plenty big, but photobucket doesn't like that sort of size

I like it.

Only teensy weensy problem I have is with the slogan "Come And Join Us", which is the recruiting slogan of the Salvation Army.

I always liked "Come Together", but obviously The Beatles have kinda cornered that one.

Know what's a really modern one? "Get In."

Y'know, double meaning, like "1-0 to Celtic? Get in!", and "Check out my motor. Get in."

Just sayin'.

I will have another play over the weekend and do different versions, I didn't know that slogan was used by the Salvation Army

I am more than happy to play around until we get a definitive version, I do this sort of thing when I'm bored, and they are forecasting rain for Sunday

Of course if anyone else wants to take up the idea and do their own versions, post them up and we can have all sorts of ones if "the Management"

are happy with us doing this to advertise the forum.

I had another go this morning but the ideas didn't flow so I gave up for now, but I have figured how to get the larger image up to photobucket

I thought people might want to have a go using the background so here it is plain

I kept some of the flyers from a previous meet and put one or two on cars, albeit with limited success because as far as I know it hasn't resulted in sign-ups.
