I'll bet there was at least one component on your car from there - the boot light on a mk1 is the same as the interior light on a Metro, for example.

I can get to Hopwood for about 10, possibly earlier. I'll have my son and daughter with me - Ruth (11) and Charlie (9).

If it's starting at half 9 might be best for you to go straight there Brad.

If we're meeting at Hopwood before hand and plan to get there for half 9 we need to be at Hopwood for 9.00 I'd say? Leave shortly after.
