My gang will want to see Boscastle and tintagel. Port Issac (where Doc Martin was filmed) is fairly close, too.

Port Issac is lovely but you need to park on the outskirts of town and walk in, I think it's best to say parking is limited

Remember if you lock with key, need to unlock with the key.

Check you havent got the ICE and EKA code mixed up, easy enough to do.

I have done so.

The fob is fine, the light flashes.
It just for some reason, has stopped locking and unlocking the car.

On the plus side, I've just worked out why the EKA isn't working - I'm entering the wrong one, the one for my CCU, not Rich's.

I have heard that pushing the unlock button 5 times in quick succession can help the car to get re-synchronised, if the problem is that its got unsynchronised.

The fob may still light up but the battery may be very low.

I'll get mum to drop it off at the post office in town when she goes to work, as I'm now immobile again.

At the very least I'm gonna get two fobs made this time. I'm thinking three, tbh. I'm so f**ked off with Immobiliser fob issues.

I'll have one to use, one to keep in the key pot, and one locked in the deepest darkest depths of my brother's wall safe.

One last thing before you rush into sending it off..

So you can get into the car now??. I was just reading another thread on mg-rover and it also says that putting the key in the ignition and turning it to position 2 for 5 seconds can help to re-synch the fob.

If you can get under the bonnet check to see if the battery needs charging?
