Sold my Mk1 800

Greetings all,
I have finally sold my 1988 Mk1 Sterling!
Still waiting on my friend to collect the Vitesse.
So that means my 800 ownership has come to an end.
I still have numerous parts, but they will be going with the Vitesse. Have enough new air filters to last another decade!
I have enjoyed my 800 ownership, in both Mk1 and Mk2 guise.
I now only have my two 75's (2003 2.5 Tourer and 20012.5 Club) and my 1986 SD1 V8.

I will be around. I have two friends with 800's.
I have told them about the forum and tried to get them to join up - but they usually just call me and get me to sort everything and find out the info!
Who knows, I may yet again buy another 800, and if I do, I know it will be more than likely a Mk2.
Thank you to all for the help I have received from members for parts, and for the knowledge I have gained from this forum.

Haha....yeah we can blame him!
But the reality is, I have moved onto the 75 model. Over here the 800 is a tarted up Honda to most.
Whereas the 75, people at least think of it as more a Rover.....till I tell them of all the BMW parts, haha.
I will always like the 2.7 ltr setup in auto form. A nice engine and gearbox combo.
