One of those is playing pit crew chief for a drag racing team.
We compete in MSA events in the Pro ET class.
For those unfamiliar with drag racing this class is a "handicap" style.
For qualifying you choose your "dial in" time - the time you think your car will run.
Closest to the dial in = highest spot on the leaderboards. Your position on the leaderboard determines your opponent for the eliminations.
Eliminations are run with a handicap. The lights are timed so that according to your dial in times both competitors should cross the finish line at the same time.
Enough on boring rules, the vehicle is technically a Toyota Supra...
It has:
- 2JZ-GTE 3l straight six with a single turbo conversion ~600hp (should see 700+ once we finalise the tuning)
Standalone EMU ECU
Spaceframe Hauser race chassis ~950kg fully dressed
Toyota Supra hybrid autobox with an aftermarket controller
Now for the photos and the odd video including the ever so practical and stylish tow vehicle/campervan!

Current best time is 10.59 @ 130mph but with a bad 60' time of 1.619
We are having issues with holding the car on the starting line, the brakes are not up to the task of hloding the back while trying to build boost for a good launch.
It SHOULD be running in the mid 9's with a wheels up launch and trapping close to 145mph
I'll keep you all posted if you're interested
