Hopefully I should be ok.

Btw... what's FUBAR ?
It's an American acronym that has passed into our version of English and it means :

F**ked
Up
Beyond
All
Repair

On a more useful note, i went round and had a look at the seal on the fastback. What's on it is remarkably similar to this :

http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Large-Exposed ... Sw5dNWq3vx

Whether that's original or someone has changed it to that in the past i don't know but it appears to be doing its job except for the fact it's not worth saving. :D
Cheers,
Dave

A couple of long shots here...

Front ABS units ( , as if), my Vitesse Lux, on it's first road test in 4 plus years, they decided to fail, previously no sign of issues.
Little return breather pipe from air filter box, mine's missing.
Anything that makes my fan work  . Cannot understand why my fan doesn't cut in, I'll open a thread for help please.

I thought the 'R' stood for 'Recognition'.

Do you mean the ABS sensors Mark? Have you tried cleaning them?

Replied to your fan thread with an idea or two, i think the "R" in FUBAR might be "flexible" depending on whether the item in question is just unrepairable or damaged beyond recognition such as the case of an F-14 that dropped out of the sky some time back into a farmers field and became a giant BBQ not far from here. :D

The rear ARB is still firmly attached Matt and the front one is still attached at the "D" brackets - it will need new D bushes though which i think are still available from Rimmers.

Best bet is message Dusan to see if they're still available, think he put his email on the first page of this thread.

The bars look to be in pretty good condition from what i've seen of them though. :D
Cheers,
Dave

Rear ARB is available, as is the front one.

Next stage of Vulturing the Vitesse should see the rear suspension stripped down and the last of the oily bits recovered.

After that I'm leaving it to Steve and Dave to pull the interior out and strip the rest of the shell ready for scrapman.

I think that's why Dusan didn't get back to you Matt.

Measured it myself when it came off the car, there were several "downgrades" to the Vitesse spec on the suspension so i think it may have been downgraded previously to give a softer ride for the owner before Dusan. The front springs and shocks were 820Si spec, rear springs were Sterling spec, front seats were Sterling spec - you get the idea!  :D

Dave

A mate of mine had a mixing desk and did his own remix of that song, several changes one of which i still remember :
"If one of your family shits in the shelter, put them outside, put them outside, put them outside!"

I had a copy on cassette (remember those! ) but lost it many moons ago. :(
