THat one came up in both searches for the 827 and also the Legend 2.7 Henrik, what's the problem with it?

I see what you mean now - i was shattered last night after playing with soundproofing etc in the Volvo for mush of the day so the brain cell wasn't even firing on one cylinder!
I've only need to contact RA once about a product and that was for clarification on the polarity. Within hours i had an acknowledgement stating the manufacturer would be in touch shortly and within seconds the manufacturer sent me a drawing clarifying the situation.
Looking up the M/C you've got there, it cross references as fitting yours :

My guess is the hose from the reservoir goes on the hose barb on the nose of the cylinder and the hydraulic pipe (with a bit of adjustment) goes into the open port and then onto the clutch damper..

Ebay.com search results for master cylinders that fit ^^^^^ Also checked a Honda parts website i use, it shows the original design M/C as well :
It's a long time since i saw a clutch on an 800 but if memory serves the pipe from the M/C to the damper is a coil of pipe with unions on the end, rather than the simple curved pipe shown in the diagram above. If so it should be easy enough to manipulate it to fit the new master. Looking here, there and everywhere shows what you've got there as an accepted alternative design.

Finally got this piece of old junk out too. Hopefully it will sort my clutch. It isn’t beautiful behind the rubber seal so it looks promising.

What do you think about this? Aftermarket alarm? I really want to remove it all... I know there was a strange separate loom attached to the plastic panel covering the under dash fusebox.

No, certainly not like the UK ones which are two tone horns and are positioned near the left hand headlight and I assume they are in the same place on LHD cars. I suspect that is purely for the aftermarket alarm.

That doesn't look standard Henrik! The two horns below the LH headlight are the normal sevice horns - dont remove them!
Are there any markings at all on the bits of kit that look non-standard?

The thing is, the loom itself looks very standard. It’s at least 10-15 small wires inside and neatly packed in a wrapped loom. Like anything else on the car. Oh dear. No I’m not that scared of it, but I think I’ll start with my multimeter and see if anything is going on in the wiring.
Oh, don’t worry Dave I’ve already removed the original horns as they weren’t working. Swapped them with a tiny tiny aftermarket horn making the car sound like a moped.

Take it steady and test the car still runs after each stage of removal Henrik - that way if it does suddenly FTP (Fail To Proceed) you only have one lot of wiring that is suspect - in theory at least!

But I think it’s the dodgy ”tall relay” Playing up again as it comes and goes. Rhubarb!!
Did some sandblasting of the doors today. Welder being charged up and gloves sorted. Mmm I love it!
