Does anyone know how these adjuster bolts are supposed to work? I've remove the nut from mine, but it won't turn, slide, drift out or do anything at all. I guess it's seized but I need to know in which direction to apply percussive maintainance Wink

Never touched them myself, sorry.

Never had to, what does the manual say?

Likewise. I have gad two mk2s develop odd looking camber angles and cured them both by fitting mk1 rear springs.

Wonder why you think they need adjusting? As others have said, not something I have heard anyone fiddle with before. Having said that, my sons Mazda 323F has adjustable track control arms at the rear and they were way off ( scrubbed rear tyres). All the adjustments were, of course, seized solid but responded to a blowtorch and grease. Found a decent body repair shop who could do a proper real wheel alignment and all has been well ever since.

Anyway, the Rover workshop manuals are the best place to look - I can email you just the section on rear suspension if you PM me your regular email addy, if that is useful.

I had the rear tyre's wear on the inside on the saloon for several years. Always meant to get the rear trailing arm bushes changed and the tracking done. I 'think' the Coupé suffers from this too, but dont know yet. Not enough miles...........

I adjusted mine once, they should turn easy, oxycetelene freed mine up for a 4 wheel tracking set up. They do seize up.

They are on an off set bolt which when turned allows you to toe in or out.
Had them adjusted after i lowered the Vitesse to do the tracking. A bit of heat and then when re-assembling some copper grease.
