I constantly battle with my lifelong magpie tendencies... just have to gather together shiny things...

This summer I had a (small) purge of some of my agricultural collection. Mostly driven by the fact the shed they were in was collapsing on top of them...

Hardest to part with was my much loved '47 Ferguson tractor.

Been with me over 15 years and despite its shabbiness it was worked hard while we restored the house and land. Been stood a couple of years with HGF Sad . Having said that, I gave it some petrol and a battery and it started in about 5 seconds and ran fine - just a sump full of mayo...

It sold for £1000, which lessened the pain. Smile A bunch of other bits and pieces went too, which provided all the funds to allow me to build the lovely quadruple garage that two Rovers and most of the remaining tractor stuff is now stood in.

The problem with having lots of storage space, is controlling the compulsion to fill it all....

Tim

How true, but then what's the point in having space if you don't put things in it? Laughing

If you didn't, it would just be called "space".
