Nice colour. Better than my mates.
Looks odd without the chrome around the doors though IMO. Is that with it being a sport? _________________ Chris

I think in the pic....the front seats are right back.
Your right tho.....certainly ain`t as much room in the back as my Passat.
You can always opt for the LWB model tho they don`t appeal to me.
As long as there`s enough room to lug my 2 work mates to work twice a week that will do. |

Right colour, right wheels, right interior, right engine.
Good call, looks nice! _________________ Vard.

Rear legroom isn't bad - you'd need to be about 7' 6" tall to have the front seats that far back. _________________ Site owner (for my sins)

It looks nice, in good condition. Is there any work that needs doing to it? _________________ Regards

I so remember when Clarkson tested a XJR and he looked in the rear seat commenting on the old "Grace, space and pace". He just said with his "Clarkson-voice":
-If you need space, buy a field.
Oh, I love that car Yam. I would give my right pinky to the Yakusa to have one. And the colour is perfect. _________________ Henrik

Very minor.
Usuall stuff,
Drivers seat bolster is worn,
The wheels could do with a refurb.
The tyres all round are almost new......
Sunroof opens fully but only tilts half what it should.
Drivers side window does nort work from the drivers switch but works from the door itself.
Thats about it.
The body work is nigh on perfect, amazing for a 13 year old car.
I don`t think the Missus is gonna come round on it tho.......

It will hurt me if I have to let it go.
I have been looking at these on and off for about 12 months.
You can pay as little as £1000 for one or as high as say £3000.
The bloke`s father who I bought it of was selling his.......same year, but with half the miles (42k) for £4000.
They wanted £2500 for this, originally.........but after a bit of bartering I paid £1800.
Just think....it was £34,000 when new.
The mind boggles. |

I really, really loved my 4 litre X300, it was a sad (if hilarious) day when I wrapped it around a lamp post
Closest thing I've found to a mechanically unburstable car though, in 3 years and about 60k miles of driving it like I stole it all I did was routine servicing. Still felt good right up until it hit the post.

| I love these cars - they are my favourite Jaguar. Would love an XJ6 someday. |

Least I know it went to a good home.....
and have consoled myself with the Vitesse Sport.
Trouble is the ride is unbelievabley good in XJ`s.
I do curse in the Vitesse when going down a bad road, as you feel every bump and hollow........and that seems to be the norm these days.
Did someone mention Road Tax ?????? |

| The Jag was set up for comfort, the Vitesse wasnt so much and has lowered stiffer suspension..... though it shouldnt be THAT bumpy - mine is firm over bumps but not that bad. If it really is crashy and bumpy then it could be your shocks could to do with being replaced, worth checking all the suspension bushes etc. aswell. I remember the 1996 Jag XJ6 I went in that my mates parents had being very smooth. |
