Owned many a classic Range Rover, superb vehicles, although fuel consumption can be crippling, the V8 is the only version to have. Would have another tomorrow although most of the classics left have been abused and I wouldn't touch a P38 with a barge pole and the latest version is just too far removed from what a Range Rover should be.

Nice range Rover.
I am a fan of P38's Only the Mustang and Isopon varieties though

Nail on the head Chris, makes 800 electrics look like the ultimate in reliability, and as Richard said problems with air suspension.CHR15E wrote:Electrics too ropey in the P38s?dollysprint wrote:Owned many a classic Range Rover, superb vehicles, although fuel consumption can be crippling, the V8 is the only version to have. My last Classic was a 4.2 LSE with Brooklands body kit and air suspension, never gave me any problems in 2 years. The last of the Classics were akin to 800 Mk1C, bit of a test bed for the new model and iron out any problems. Failed!
