I believe this still belongs to Benny Vitesse. Formally a car of Brads.

Rover 827SLi, registered in 1999, though built before the run of the Honda engines ended. Fitted with Mk1 Bonnet and lights.

NO blue carpets and Mk1 dash. It may be a nice car but too much of a mish-mash for me so I'M OUT.

That's standard - it's a MK2a 827SLi that was late registered, has had an MK1 bonnet fitted and a MK2b Sterling interior.

I retro fitted a non-airbag dash to my mk2b Sterling - they look so much nicer. The mk1 front looks good, too, although there's nothing you can do about the mk2 saloon's fat, bulbous arse end.

I dont have a problem with the dash-they do look better IMHO Than the twin dash like mine. I also like the shape of both the MK1 and the MK2 800's, but what I don't like is a strange amalgam of the two.... :? If it were mine, I would reinstate the MK2 bonnet.....

But the rear would be a mismatch, then.

I built this car in 2008/9 and it looks ace. The pics above distort the actual finished car and make it look to have an extended snout.

A handsome car and rid of the glitzy tacked on Mark 2 shroud.

Who do I thank for taking it from 39 views @7am to 97 views by 2.30pm??

Yes its for sale, I need to sell both this and the ZR to buy 1 medium sized car which must now be automatic as my hip is still not right from my car crash 6 months ago.

To answer Joey, a mark 1 bumper with a mark one bonnet equals a mark 1 car, really. Here’s one of my old playthings, a 1990 Sterling with mark 2 front wings.

Its a shame you have to sell Benny, that is really a nice car, I know that you've looked after it well. I only wish I had the spare cash to buy it.

Brad fitted possibly the best 800 interior (in my opinion) into it, I'd love to own your car.

Have you got the link to your ZR? I think there are a few on here who might also like to see your ZR.

Good luck with the sale though.

Having seen it in the metal at PoL, I don't think this car photographs well. In the metal it looks spot on; and scarily like an updated SD1 from the front.

Would be very tempted if I could afford to run it atm. Benny, sorry to hear you're not fully mended - mind, that accident was pretty horrific. Was surprised to see how fit and well you looked the week after when I saw you at PoL, and I hop in time the hip sorts itself out mate.

I did a double take first time round on here thinking it looked like an SD1 too.

The mix of styles isnt my thing (I think) - could well be proven otherwise if I saw it in the metal.

Nice condition and colour though!
